7 Let Israel trust in the Lord, for the Lord has mercy and much deliverance with him,

Psalm 18

2 The heavens proclaim the glory of God, and the firmament proclaims the work of his hands.
3 Day conveys speech to day, and night reveals knowledge to night.
4 There is no tongue, and no language, where their voice is not heard.
5 Their sound goes through all the earth, and their words to the ends of the world. He made a dwelling place for the sun in them,
6 and it comes out like a bridegroom from his bridal chamber, rejoices like a giant to run through the race:
7 from the end of the heavens he comes, and his procession to the end of them, and nothing is hidden from his warmth.
8 The law of the Lord is perfect; it strengthens the soul; The revelation of the Lord is true, making the simple wise.
9 The commandments of the Lord are righteous, gladdening the heart; the commandment of the Lord is bright, enlightening the eyes.
10 The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever. The judgments of the Lord are true, all are righteous;
11 they are more desirable than gold, and even a lot of pure gold, sweeter than honey and drops of honeycomb;
12 and your servant is guarded by them, in their observance is a great reward.
13 Who will see his errors? Cleanse me from my secrets
14 and keep your servant from the deliberate ones, so that they do not dominate me. Then I will be blameless and pure from great corruption.

Psalm 14

Psalm of David. 1 Lord! Who can dwell in Your dwelling? Who can dwell on Your holy mountain?
2 He who walks upright and does what is right, and speaks the truth in his heart;
3 he who does not slander with his tongue, does not do evil to his sincere, and does not accept reproach against his neighbor4
4 he, in whose eyes the reprobate is despised, but who praises those who fear the Lord; who swears, even to an evil one, and does not change;
5 who does not lend his money at interest, and does not accept gifts against the innocent. He who does this will never be shaken.

Psalm 93

[Psalm of David on the fourth day of the week.] 1 God of vengeance, Lord, God of vengeance, reveal Yourself!
2 Arise, Judge of the earth, repay the proud.
3 How long, O Lord, will the wicked, how long will the wicked triumph?
4 They spew bold words; all those who do iniquity are magnified;
5 They trample down Your people, O Lord; they oppress Your inheritance;
6 They kill the widow and the stranger, and they kill the orphans
7 and they say, “The Lord will not see, and the God of Jacob will not know.”
8 Understand, senseless people! when will you be smart, ignoramuses?
9 He who planted an ear, will he not hear? and he who formed the eye will not see?
10 He who admonishes the nations, will he not reprove, He who teaches man understanding?
11 The Lord knows the thoughts of men that they are vain.
12 Blessed is the man whom You admonish, O Lord, and instruct with Your law,
13 to give him rest in days of trouble, until a pit is dug for the wicked!
14 For the Lord will not turn away his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance.
15 For judgment will return to righteousness, and all the upright in heart will follow.
16 Who will rise up for me against the wicked? who will stand for me against those who do iniquity?
17 If the Lord had not been my helper, my soul would soon have settled in the land of silence.
18 When I said, "My foot is tottering," Your mercy, O Lord, sustained me.
19 When my sorrows increase in my heart, your comforts delight my soul.
20 Will the seat of the destroyers come near you, plotting violence contrary to the law?
21 The crowd rush to the soul of the righteous and condemn the blood of the innocent.
22 But the Lord is my defense, and my God is the rock of my refuge,
23 and he will turn their iniquity upon them, and destroy them by their wickedness; the Lord our God will destroy them.

Psalm 27

Psalm of David.
1 To you, O Lord, I call: my stronghold! Be not silent to me, lest in Your silence I become like those who go down into the grave.
2 Hear the voice of my supplications when I call to Thee, when I lift up my hands to Thy holy temple.
3 Destroy me not with the wicked and those who do iniquity, who speak of peace with their neighbors, but have evil in their hearts.
4 Repay them according to their deeds, according to their evil deeds; repay them according to the works of their hands, give them what they deserve.
5 Because they are heedless of the works of the Lord and the work of his hands, he will destroy them and not build them up.
6 Blessed be the Lord, for He has heard the voice of my prayers.
7 The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and he helped me, and my heart rejoiced; and I will glorify him with my song.
8 The Lord is the strength of his people and the saving protection of his anointed.
9 Save your people and bless your inheritance; shepherd them and raise them up forever!

Psalm 131

2 how he swore to the Lord, made a vow to the mighty Jacob:
3 “I will not enter the tent of my house, I will not ascend to my bed;
4 I will not give sleep to my eyes, and to my eyelids slumber,
5 until I find a place for the Lord, a dwelling place for the mighty Jacob.
6 Behold, we heard of him in Ephrath; we found him in the fields of Jarim.
7 Let us go to his dwelling place; let us bow down at his footstool.
8 Stand, O Lord, in the place of thy rest; thou art the ark of thy might.
9 Your priests will be clothed with righteousness, and your saints will rejoice.
10 For the sake of your servant David, do not turn away the face of your anointed.
11 The Lord swore to David the truth, and he will not deny it: “I will plant the fruit of your womb on your throne.
12 If your sons keep my covenant and my testimonies, which I will teach them, then their sons will sit on your throne forever.”
13 For the Lord has chosen Zion, he has desired [it] for his habitation.
14 “This is my rest forever: here I will dwell, for I have desired it.
15 I will bless his food, I will satisfy his poor with bread;
16 I will clothe his priests with salvation, and his saints will rejoice with joy.
17 There I will raise the horn of David; I will set up a lamp for my anointed.
18 I will clothe his enemies with shame, and his crown will shine on him.”
