The secret of the rich is tithing and charity!
Charity is one of the secrets of rich people. Many times you can find in Kiyosaki's books a mention of the importance of sharing part of the profits with society, the church, and various charitable organizations. This is a spiritual law, if we start giving money, then the world will give us money and prosperity. As the bible says, you reap what you sow. Sow sparingly, reap sparingly, sow generously, reap generously.
It also mentions that you need to bring at least 10 percent of your income to the church. For example, I went to church for more than 3 years, and all this time I regularly gave my tithing. To be honest, I did not notice any changes in my life at that time.
After some not-so-pleasant things that happened in our congregation, I stopped attending meetings. To attend churches just do at least some of my desire is completely gone. I thought about what to do with the tithe, where to give it (at that time I had already read books that talked about the importance of sharing money and decided to give it every month) and did not come up with anything better than I began to give tithe to my parents. After that, I found several charitable foundations via the Internet and also began to give part of the money there. The foundations raise funds for operations for sick children.
You know, to be honest, I still don't understand how to properly give tithing. And at least read books by various authors on success.
For example, Bodo Schaefer in the books does not particularly focus on where to give money, he just says that money needs to be shared.
Randy Gage in one of his seminars says the following – you need to give money to your "spiritual source", the organization or person from whom you draw knowledge or spiritual strength. Interestingly, some people also consider Randy Gage their "spiritual source" and give their tithing to him. And he takes these tithes and gives them, along with his offerings, to his church.
The secret of the rich is tithing and charity!
Robert Kiyosaki also does not say exactly where to give money. (Although in some books he quotes his rich dad saying that God is his partner in money matters and he gives money to the church) In the examples, Robert says that you can give money to the church, to foundations, to help the community, and so on. …
But is it important to give money to the church in the first place? Or should your charity or tithing be directed by you exactly where you yourself see fit? Is there a difference between charity and church tithing?
The same Randy Gage further in the seminar says that it is also important to give money not only to your “spiritual source" but also to charity, which in other words can be said – charity and church tithing are different things and you need to give money both there and there.
I would like to read other opinions on this issue. Do you give your money to a church or just to charity? What do you think is more important – church tithing or just helping people? Has your life changed since you started sharing money?
Do you believe in giving away a tenth of your income? What is one of the secrets of rich people? After all, in fact, if you do not share money, then you will not become rich?
